Season 2 for Squads

Season 2 (update 0.2.0) went live on 15 October 2026. This is the part of Bulkhead’s patch notes that changes how a squad fights, builds and plans, with the numbers pulled from the official notes.

Big rounds hit softer

Base damage dropped on every weapon using these rounds, vehicle guns included. Bulkhead’s reasoning: battle rifles, DMRs and LMGs were doing close to sniper damage at a much faster fire rate. The FAL keeps the highest per-shot damage among assault rifles, now closer to the TCX-SPR and M4. Snipers got extra hit-location damage to make up the difference. DMRs now sit between assault rifles and snipers.

Armor, helmets and suppression

  • + Level 3 armor and helmets: damage reduction 55% to 50%. Level 4: 65% to 60%.
  • + The Level 4 helmet now muffles audio and proximity chat, narrows your view, and fogs when you sprint. Your point man probably wants Level 3.
  • + Level 3 and 4 helmets resist suppression more: 68% and 80%.
  • + Near-miss suppression from small and medium calibers is much stronger, and fire rate now counts. A squad laying down SMG and rifle fire pins harder than it did in Season 1.
  • + Scout Rifle headshots one-shot anyone without a helmet. A Level 1 helmet takes two.

Rain

The new rain preset changes how you move. Thunder during heavy rain reaches every player on the server at the same moment from the same direction, and it is loud enough to mask footsteps: call the push on the strike. Rain also cuts spotting range and weakens Molotov fire. Destroy a roof and the rain comes through it.

New vehicles

VehicleRoleUnlock
Wolf-110Fast, light wheeled transport.Driver 8, $50k
Wolf-110 [M2 Browning]The Wolf-110 with a ring-mounted M2.Driver 16, $125k
T-72B3Main battle tank. Slower than the L2A6, cheaper and slightly more fuel-efficient.Driver 20, $250k
Flakpanzer GepardAnti-air vehicle.Driver 25, $300k
SPH-2Moved into the Driver track (was WARDOG 90, $500k).Driver 31, $350k

Vendor prices also rose: the L2A6 went from $14,000 to $22,000 and the Havoc from $18,000 to $28,000. The T-72B3 is the cheaper tank to lose.

Building and supply runs

Structures cost a lot more supplies: the L81 mortar went from 150 to 600, the Stingray from 150 to 650. The full cost table and what it means for build order is in the FOB guide. Logistics pays less per delivery but adds streak bonuses for consecutive runs: +$100 per crate in a row and +$250 per pallet in a row, each up to 10. A driver who keeps the same truck on the loop earns more than one who abandons it, which suits the resupply loop.

Teams and the Lonestar experiment

Once a team leads by more than 10 points, anyone who switches teams is locked in for 15 minutes, their map stays hidden until they reach the control zone, and they cannot use the spawn vehicle until then. Pick your side with the squad before you load in. Season 2 launched with extra cash and XP for Lonestar players only; Bulkhead pulled that bonus after one day, with CEO Joe Brammer saying “We were wrong.” Bakurani spawns were all moved and rebuilt, so the map no longer pins the Season 1 base positions there.
